Type ‘Be’ Breather Drains are used to allow the air inside an enclosure to breathe with the surrounding atmosphere and also to allow any moisture that enters the enclosure to drain while maintaining the overall integrity of the installation.

Intended for use where an installation is subject to fluctuations in temperature which can lead to the formation of condensation and a subsequent moisture build-up. ‘Be’ Breather Drains are supplied with a captive “O” ring seal and a castellated locknut component. The captive “O” ring on recess of the face of the breather drain optimizes ingress protection while the castellated locknut allows moisture to pass between the enclosure and the locknut to the drain holes in the fitting.
